GSMA has recently launched a section of the GSMA Marketplace specifically for vendors who supply services to exhibitors and attendees at GSMA events, including Mobile World Congress, Mobile World Congress Shanghai, and, starting in 2017, the new Mobile World Congress Americas.
The Marketplace is an online commerce platform that is currently connecting 3,900 mobile industry suppliers to over 700 buyers. In the last year, these buyers have initiated more than $270,000,000 of business deals on the portal. The new GSMA Event Supplier Category on the Marketplace’s Company Directory enables event suppliers to get directly in front of GSMA exhibitors . Exhibitors can browse the category or initiate a more focused search for a specific exhibition product or service they need to purchase. In addition, event suppliers can create a virtual company storefront, upload a product/service catalogue and participate in the hundreds of live RFP/RFI/RFX that occur on the site.
